A Day Out With My Dad!!

Food is one of the things that my dad and I have in common, well that is What I think so. Today I have dinner with dad outside Melrose instead of having dinner at hostel and I am feeling full now after all that eating so I will let the pictures do the talking now.

Job Seeking Adventure

Hey my dear readers, I know it's been a long time since I have not blogged and I have been procrastinating saying to myself that, "Oh I am too tired and I shall do blog post next time and what can I blog since I got nothing to blog about'' Well today I got to something to blog about.

Today is the day, I met up with rainne to actually find a job for myself since I am rusting at home(hostel) doing nothing but laying eggs. Hahahaha I know, I know how can human lay eggs, I say to mean that I am very very bored at home. Rainne met me from my hostel and first of, we went to bugis street to find for a job. It was packed with sardine ( I hope I did not say it wrongly) We skip 1st floor and went up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. I was captivated by the beauty of clothes and accessories and I wanted to get some for myself but nah I resisted. In the end of my job seeking adventure with rainne, I did not manage to find a job at the spot but two jobs say they will call me (I hope and pray they will call me back )

After job seeking adventure, it was time to go to haji land to take some pictures as I have heard that backgrounds over there are beautiful. I have not been there before and When I first saw it, I was in love with that street. I took so many pictures of our ootds. Some of the pictures were taken by random people whom we asked. There was this particular time When rainne and I were taking each other picture, there was this lady who approached us and said that we looked so cute together and without us asking her, she willing to take a picture for us. I am so delighted to meet people who is so friendly. Her mood really light me up. (Thank you lord for letting me meet her) I think I talk to much and now let my pictures do the talking. How about that?

It's been a long long time

I have been pretty busy from the time school started. I finished my first and second module together around November and I am continuing my third module. Well third module is pretty fun. It's called Digital Images and we learn how to use Adobe Illustrator. Our lecturer, Stella, she is young and she is a  Graphic designer, I kinda look up to her but her looks can get impatient at times. But overall she is capable which is good right? Anyway we need to get a computer for this module as in not using it in school but to practise at home. Our school have already a laptop to use in school. So I decided to get mac as it's better for design students but I myself know I cannot really afford for one and in the end I got HP. It's not what I want but I have not much choice. I got my laptop during the IT Expo Sale. It was really crowded and seriously I saw a lot of people who were very kiasu and some pushed me. Well what can I say, it's a IT Sale and it is my first time going to IT fare. Even though I don't really like HP laptop, I will still take care good care of this baby as this is my first time owing a laptop and I use my hard-earned money to buy it. To end of today's blogging, I have put together a collection of things I have done with the Adobe Illustrator: some are done for school and some are my own individual thinking.

Materials sourcing

Hey there guys, School been craizyyyy!!!! Too much information our lecturer,  Vernon been giving us and I am the slowest in the class. What can I do to follow the lesson along? I brought a notebook and write down notes but it is still not helping. Last week,  Vernon told us to source for fabric and certain stuffs and  the only available day for me is Saturday. I asked my brother along as I am afraid that I cannot carry alot of stuffs. We met at Clementi Mrt  today. And what I saw today was a shocked of my life. My brother has a moustache and a beard which I never see that in real life before. He look unglam but no matter what he is still my brother.  He said he has no time to shave, very tired and sleeping pattern is different. He is activate at night and sleeps during the day. I am glad that he took time to come down just for me and carry my stuff as it too heavy. First of all we went to Chinatown to look for Lye Nai Shiong Llp at People's Park.  When we arrived at Chinatown, we went to People's park complex thinking that it's the same thing as People's Park but we were wrong.  We went around and around and we cannot find the shop that I was looking for eventually we gave up and I asked a random shop owner and she gave us the direction and blar blar blar blar........

Finally we reached the shop and the lady who is attending to me, she so loud and made me think she was so rude to her customer. Maybe its a pretty busy day for her. I don't blame her because I have been in her shoes before.  I worked  at retail for 1 year and 3 months. The cashier lady is nice. From her body language, I can tell that she is not going to   give me reciept so I asked her and she willing gave me a manual reciept.  At least not too bad.  Next stop was Brighton fabric store and the retailer is so amiable, he guide me along.  I did not really asked alot of question as I was in a rush (Don't want to make my brother wait ). After that I treat my brother chicken rice and that is  for   coming all the way from Choa Chu Kang to China town.  Thanks brother!!! When we done eating our so called lunch,  I persuaded my brother to help me take picture of my #ootd and #wiwt. He reluctantly help to take pictures. My first day at school

I know I have not been blogging for quite a long time.  Pretty busy with work and school just started. My first day of school was on Friday, 15th of August. I was actually nervous yet excited  when school start. My classes start at night 7pm till 10pm, Monday and Friday for the first two modules.  Subsequently from the third module onwards it would be Monday, Wednesday and Friday so that means there would be alot of work I would be doing. On the first day,  I made a few friends. They were nice and awesome.  Like literally awesome!!! I think I am the youngest there. The lecturer, Mr vernon has a hilarious personality and he told us how he stepped into fashion.  So inspired!!!  One thing I don't really like is he talks very fast which most of the time I don't what he is saying and look like my classmates can adapt it which means I am slowlearner. And this is the time for me to buck up.  Kavita u can do it!!!!!!!!  Surprisingly, I did not use my phone at all during the lessons. Betta this course is what I want to pursue in my life as a job. This is some of the pictures I have taken at  Ywca Jurong child care while working there. It is a tiring jobs: bath the kids, feed them,  put them to sleep but one thing I know they never fail to put a smile on my face.

Everyday life

Lately I have been quite busy with working and I have no time for blogging. I have been working in childcare centre as a relief teacher for quite some time. My work starts from 9am to 6pm. My off days are only at weekends. I know it's been long since I last posted on my blog. HAISSSSS........ Feels so tired. Anyway I will try to blog whenever I am free. Can't wait for school!!! I hope I get accepted to TAFTC. School is starting on August. YESHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
